This exchange-traded fund endeavours to replicate the performance of the Bloomberg Global Aggregate ex-USD Float Adjusted RIC Capped Index (CAD Hedged), net of fees and expenses. Its primary investments consist of the U.S.-domiciled Vanguard Total International Bond Market ETF. To mitigate currency risk, any U.S. dollar holdings are hedged to the Canadian dollar. The fund employs a disciplined, passively managed strategy, using index sampling to secure broad exposure to major bond markets located outside of the United States.
