Its primary objective is to closely mirror the price and yield performance of the Bloomberg Intermediate US Corporate Index, before factoring in fees and expenses. SPIB provides targeted and broad exposure to U.S. corporate bonds with maturities spanning from one year to just under ten years. The underlying Index consists exclusively of investment-grade, fixed-rate, taxable, U.S. dollar-denominated corporate debt, requiring each bond issue to have at least $300 million in par value outstanding. The Index is weighted by market capitalization and is rebalanced on the final business day of every month.
