Float zone polysilicon is also part of its electronic offerings. Its product portfolio is further diversified by silicon gases, encompassing silane, dichlorosilane, monochlorosilane, disilane, and polysilanes. Originally named Renewable Energy Corporation ASA, the firm adopted its current name, REC Silicon ASA, in October 2013. Established in 1996, it maintains its principal office in Lysaker, Norway.
