RockCreek Global Equality ETF (RCGE)
Company overview
RCGE is an actively managed exchange-traded fund designed to provide investors with exposure to companies that prioritize gender equality in their organizational practices. The investment process begins by identifying a broad universe of the 3,000 largest stocks in developed markets and the 1,000 largest in emerging markets, both ranked by market capitalization. Eligible companies then undergo a detailed screening based on a proprietary gender equality score, which assesses aspects like workforce gender balance, pay equity, and policies concerning parental leave and sexual harassment; companies without a quantifiable score are excluded. An additional ethical filter is applied to further refine the candidate pool. Subsequently, the fund evaluates financial performance, focusing on key indicators such as debt-to-equity ratio, debt-to-EBITDA, and overall financial statement strength. From this filtered group, the top 150 to 200 companies demonstrating the highest gender equality scores and meeting the financial benchmarks are selected. To ensure diversification, the fund enforces caps on individual holdings, country exposure, and sector weightings. The portfolio undergoes rebalancing every quarter.
