Company overview
Predictive Oncology Inc. (POAI), an organization driven by expertise and data, is dedicated to pioneering individualized cancer treatments through the application of artificial intelligence, primarily within the United States. The company conducts its operations across four distinct divisions: Helomics, zPREDICTA, Soluble, and Skyline. The Helomics division offers extensive clinical diagnostic services, including tumor drug response assessments and genomic profiling, alongside contract research focused on patient-centered drug discovery. This latter service leverages active learning technology for foundational discovery, clinical and translational research, clinical trials, and the development and validation of diagnostics. Meanwhile, the zPREDICTA division excels in crafting organ-specific disease models, providing three-dimensional reconstructions of human tissues that accurately mirror various disease states and simulate drug responses, particularly for evaluating anticancer agents. The Soluble segment delivers services centered on High-Throughput Self-Interaction Chromatography, an automated system proficient at screening additives and excipients in protein formulations to ensure the creation of soluble and physically stable biologic therapeutics. This segment also provides protein stability analysis, specialized kits for swift identification of soluble formulations, and proprietary technologies for the detection and elimination of bacterial endotoxins. The Skyline division markets the STREAMWAY System, a fully automated, wall-mounted device designed to substantially minimize healthcare staff's exposure to blood and other infectious fluids in clinical environments. Furthermore, this division conducts research and development and supplies specialized media that supports the ex-vivo growth of cancer cells while maintaining their original DNA/RNA and proteomic signatures. Founded in 2002, the company was formerly known as Precision Therapeutics Inc. until it adopted the name Predictive Oncology Inc. in June 2019. Its corporate headquarters are situated in Eagan, Minnesota.
