Xtrackers USD Corporate Bond Short Duration SRI PAB UCITS ETF 1D (XYLD.DE)
Company overview
This ETF seeks to replicate the performance of the Bloomberg MSCI USD Corporate SRI 0-5 Years PAB Index. This index comprises U.S. dollar-denominated corporate bonds that are rated investment-grade and possess short-term maturities, specifically ranging from one month up to, but not including, five years. Each bond issue must have a minimum outstanding value of USD 750 million to qualify. A key feature of this index is its stringent environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria, admitting only companies with an MSCI ESG rating of BBB or higher and an MSCI ESG Controversy score of 1 or greater. Moreover, the index maintains a strong decarbonization commitment, initiating with a 50% reduction in absolute greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions relative to its parent universe, followed by a continuous annual 7% reduction trajectory. It also systematically excludes companies involved in a range of controversial sectors, such as alcohol, tobacco, gambling, adult entertainment, genetically modified organisms (GMOs), nuclear power, civilian firearms, and certain military weapons, as further specified in its exclusion rules.
