Xtrackers MSCI Europe Consumer Staples Screened UCITS ETF 1C (DXSK.DE)
Company overview
This ETF aims to track the performance of the MSCI EUROPE CONSUMER STAPLES SCREENED 20/35 index. This index is composed of large and mid-capitalization companies from developed European markets, specifically those classified within the Consumer Staples sector by the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS). Holdings are weighted based on their free-float adjusted market capitalization, adhering to MSCI's Capped Indexes methodology, which restricts the largest group entity to 35% and all other group entities to 20%, with a 10% buffer applied during index rebalancings and as needed monthly. A stringent environmental, social, and governance (ESG) screening process is employed: companies are excluded if they are involved with controversial weapons, possess an MSCI ESG Rating of 'CCC' or are unrated, derive specific revenues from tobacco, conventional or nuclear weapons, civilian firearms, thermal coal, unconventional or arctic oil and gas extraction, or palm oil. Any issuer with an MSCI Controversies Score of 0 is also removed. Additionally, the index is constructed to exhibit a reduced greenhouse gas intensity compared to its parent index. Further information on the index, its selection criteria, and weighting methodology can be found on the MSCI website.
