The company's business is organized into three principal divisions: Ski Areas, Leisure Parks, and Holdings & Supports. The Ski Areas division is responsible for running ski lifts, as well as outfitting, servicing, and overseeing ski resorts, including the upkeep of ski runs and trails. This segment also undertakes the sale of land to real estate developers. Notable ski resorts managed under this division include La Plagne, Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry, Tignes, Val d'Isère, Les Menuires, Méribel, Flaine, Serre Chevalier, Les Deux Alpes, Samoëns, and Megeve. The Leisure Parks segment focuses on the development and management of a broad spectrum of entertainment venues. These include theme parks, combined amusement and animal parks, water parks, wax museums, and other prominent tourist destinations. Iconic leisure parks within its portfolio comprise Parc Astérix, Futuroscope, Grévin Paris, France Miniature, Walibi Rhône-Alpes, Walibi Holland, Walibi Belgium, Aqualibi, Bellewaerde, Aquapark, and Familypark. Finally, the Holdings & Supports segment provides consultancy services and handles operations related to tour-operating, travel agencies, and real estate activities. Compagnie des Alpes SA was established in 1989 and its corporate headquarters are located in Paris, France.
