Company overview

Pembina Pipeline Corporation, established in Calgary, Canada, in 1954, delivers essential transportation and midstream services to the energy sector. Its operations are structured into three distinct divisions. The comprehensive Pipelines segment manages a network of conventional, oil sands, heavy oil, and transmission pipelines, boasting a daily transportation capacity of 3.1 million barrels of oil equivalent. This division also provides 11 million barrels of ground storage and approximately 105 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day in rail terminalling capacity, catering to various markets and basins across North America. The Facilities division offers critical infrastructure for processing natural gas, condensate, and diverse natural gas liquids (NGLs) such as ethane, propane, and butane. This includes NGL fractionation capabilities of 354 thousand barrels per day, 21 million barrels of underground cavern storage, and supporting pipeline and rail terminalling systems. Finally, the Marketing & New Ventures division focuses on the buying and selling of hydrocarbon liquids and natural gas, predominantly sourced from the Western Canadian sedimentary basin and other key energy regions.
