As of December 31, 2021, its electric utilities were serving approximately 810,600 customers in West Central Florida, 536,000 in Nova Scotia, 132,000 on the island of Barbados, 19,000 on Grand Bahama Island, and 35,700 on the island of Dominica. Furthermore, its gas utilities and infrastructure segment catered to roughly 445,000 customers across Florida and 542,000 customers in New Mexico. The company also provides internal insurance, reinsurance, and financing services to itself and its affiliated entities.
