The company's extensive operations serve clients across Europe, Russia, the Middle East, the Americas, and Southeast Asia. Its business is strategically divided into two core segments: Plant Making and Steel Making. Furthermore, the company offers rolling mills tailored for long products, seamless and welded tubes, and both hot and cold flat products, along with specialized process lines for flat materials. Its capabilities extend to plants for precise dimensional checking, non-destructive quality control, and material conditioning. Danieli also provides secondary processing equipment such as peeling, straightening, 2-roll reeling, and drawing machines; forging presses and manipulators; extrusion presses for ferrous and non-ferrous metals; and plants for longitudinal and transversal cutting. The segment also supplies plant automation systems and various cranes and lifting apparatus. The Steel Making segment focuses on the production and sale of specialized steel products, encompassing ingots, blooms, billets, and both forged and rolled steel. This division also manufactures structural steel types, including high carbon, case-hardened, hardened and tempered, and surface-hardened varieties, all essential for numerous engineering components. Established in 1914, Danieli & C. Officine Meccaniche S.p.A. maintains its headquarters in Buttrio, Italy.
