Furthermore, the institution extends treasury services, specifically dealing in spot and forward foreign exchange transactions, and supports clients with modern internet and mobile banking platforms. Established in 1999 and headquartered in Stellenbosch, South Africa, Capitec maintains a substantial physical presence through approximately 853 branches and a network of around 2,863 self-service machines, which include ATMs and various note and coin recyclers.
